Teeth Whitening
As its name implies, whitening is a cosmetic procedure used to get rid of yellow teeth stains and restore them to their natural, pearly-look.
Yellow stains in teeth are caused by many factors. Some of them include smoking, drinking alcohol, coffee, tea, or soda, genetics, or simply the passage of time.
Whitening requires bleaching. Your dentist will evaluate your teeth and select the type and amount of bleach required to restore your teeth to a more vibrant whiter color. Your dentist will then cover your gums with gel or a rubber shield in order to protect them, and then proceed to apply the bleach. The bleach could be either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, and your dentist in Guatemala will select the best one for you.
Typically, only one session is needed. Note that bleaching only works on yellow teeth. Brown teeth or dark teeth will not benefit much from teeth whitening. One of our teeth whitening specialists will evaluate your case and find the best solution to give you the smile you want at a price you can afford.
